Vegas Shopping: Louis Vuitton Key Pouch

Louis Vuitton. It took many years for me to appreciate the brand, but once I got it, I couldn’t get away from it! 😀 Early in 2016, I said to myself that this would be the year that I would start my collection, and well…here we are! I wanted something that I would use daily, so I decided to start out with small leather goods, and a key pouch in Damier Ebene was the right way to go. A stop at Louis Vuitton in Fashion Show Mall was just what I needed!

I use this every single day, and I love it. It fits snugly in my purse, and my keys aren’t too heavy for the chain. When I just need to run a quick errand, and don’t feel like lugging my purse along, I just grab this and go! It’s not so heavy that it pulls agains the material as the pouch hangs when I’m driving, but I also don’t overload it. I want it to keep its shape, as well as continue to be functional. I am not hard on the things that I buy/receive, regardless of the price point. I believe in taking good care of everything that you have. Hopefully this will look new forever! Okay, at least newish. 😉

Vegas Shopping: adidas Superstar

IMG_6557

I have been looking for these shoes everywhere, you hear me? EVERYWHERE! And every time that I found them online, they were either sold out, or they were on backorder until the end of time. That also applies to said websites’ in-store finders. They were nowhere to be found in my location.

Enter, Vegas.

First day there, I trucked it over to Fashion Show Mall, found a Foot Locker, and the rest was history. With the Superstar, it’s recommended that you go down half a size, but this is why you should try these on in person before buying them. I normally wear an 8. I got the last white and black pair in a 7, which fit okay, but looking back now, I probably could have tried to hold out for a 6 or a 6.5, because the 7 is still a bit big. So I went a full size down, but needed to go two sizes down instead. I’m assuming it’s all because of the way that the shoe is designed, because even though I can fit my feet into a 7.5 on occasion, it’s been a very long time since I could wear a 6. 😄

Sizing issues aside, I love these shoes. They are super comfortable, easy to walk around in, and are cute to boot! I normally only own one pair of athletic shoes at a time, because as we all know, I truly live in high heels. 😉 But this is my second pair of adidas, after being a Nike girl for the majority of my life (great when you’re playing sports!), and I have to say that I really like the brand. I wouldn’t have hunted down these shoes if I didn’t, that’s for sure! 🙂

Influenster: Kérastase Discipline Curl Idéal

Honestly, March and April must be “hair months,” because people keep sending me hair products…and I am not even remotely mad at it! Heeeeeeey! 🙂 Influenster sent me their Kérastase Discipline Curl Idéal VoxBox for review, and let me tell you, I am all about it!

Included in the VoxBox were the Cleansing Conditioner Curl Idéal, and the Discipline Oléo-Curl Cream.

The Cleansing Conditioner Curl Idéal is exactly what it sounds like. It’s a cleansing conditioner. It is silicone-free and sulfate-free, so I was surprised when it did suds up a little bit. But only a little. This product is so incredibly lovely! I figured that it would just feel like conditioner, which is what cleansing conditioners usually feel like to me. But not this one! It was so creamy, and if you can describe this type of product as delicious, well, that’s where I was at when using this. It felt so wonderful, and it did not leave my hair feeling stripped or dry in any way.

My hair is chemically relaxed, but I told myself that after January, I would not relax my hair at all for the rest of the year. My hair also grows quickly, so I had enough new growth to be able to see if this would work on the part of my hair that is naturally curly. Let me tell you something – those curls were popping! Right after a wash, with no additional product. I can’t wait to see what this product is like later on in the year when I have more curly hair to work with! 😀

The Oléo-Curl is also quite nice! I don’t typically use a lot of products after I wash and condition my hair, because my hair is fine, and tends to reject a lot of products. This one seemed to work just fine on my hair, though. So again, I am looking forward to seeing how I can use it later in the year!

Curls, dangit! CURLS! I love it! I would definitely recommend those with curly hair (of any texture!) to at least give the Kérastase Discipline Curl Idéal line a try. You might find yourself a new favorite product!
