Yeast Rolls – No Kneading Required!

I enjoy cooking and baking, and to be honest, I prefer to make things from scratch. Sometimes you want to finish a dish quickly, so I can understand using a few “pre-prepared” ingredients, but some things deserve to be made from scratch. Plus, you know exactly what’s in your food when you do it that way. 😉

This is one of my favorite recipes for yeast rolls, and it’s super easy. It comes from The Pioneer Woman, which is a blog that I’ve followed for several years now. If the name sounds familiar, it’s because Ree Drummond, the blogstress herself, now has a show on Food Network of the same name. I’ve made many of her recipes over the years, and trust me, they are all good. You won’t be disappointed.

Ree does a great job of documenting the process of making these rolls, so I will just direct you to her blog. Plus, this just might be my sneaky attempt at getting you to check out her blog so you can scope out the rest of her recipes. 😉 Click the link below the photo, and enjoy! 😀

No-Knead Yeast Rolls!

Lookfantastic.com Skincare Buys – RMK and Korres

RMK

RMK Cotton – I am always looking for new products from around the world to buy and try, because hello, I am a product junkie! I came across RMK Cotton a few months ago, only to find that you can’t buy it in the United States. *sad face* But that doesn’t mean that you can’t order it from another country! 😀

RMK Cotton pads can be used on both sides, with the mesh side being good for exfoliation, and the linen-gel side for massaging. Mind you, the texture on the linen-gel side changes when wet. It’s kind of fascinating! The first test of these cotton pads was on mascara and eyeliner. Usually it takes two cotton balls or pads per eye to get everything removed. With RMK? One pad quickly took everything off of both eyes.

Needless to say, I was sold. I tried it again when it was time to remove my nail polish. What normally takes me several cotton balls or regular cotton pads again took one (count ’em, ONE) RMK cotton pad. I honestly don’t think that I can go back to regular cotton balls ever again!

ETA: Apparently this is not on LookFantastic’s website anymore. Maybe they sold out? Glad I grabbed a box when I did! 😦

Korres Milk Proteins Cleansing Wipes – I really like this one as well. I think that it’ll be more useful in the summer months when I am actually wearing a little more makeup, but I tried it on a day where I was actually wearing a full face, and it removed the makeup pretty quickly. Knowing that I’m kind of extra at times when it comes to cleansing my face, I can see using these wipes as a quick fix when I’m nowhere near my sink or my regular products, but even when using them at home, I would wash my face again with a cleanser after using the cleansing wipes. You don’t have to do that if you don’t want to. I am just weird about these things. 😉

Winterlicious Tag! Wait…what?

Hello hello! So, I have been seeing this tag everywhere, and it’s appropriate for the season, so I thought, “Eh, why not.” 😉

1) Favorite Winter Nail Polish?

essie

Well, I am not a fan of winter. At all. So I usually wear polishes that are probably more suited for spring and summer (my favorite seasons) during this time. Right now, my favorite would be “Trophy Wife” by Essie.

2) Favorite Winter lip product? Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment, or FusionBeauty LipFusion Balm Lip Conditioning Stick. Say that three times fast. 😉

3) Most worn Winter clothing piece? Right now it would have to be the navy slouch sweater from Gap. So comfortable…so warm.

4) Most worn Winter accessory? Gold jewelry. Adds warmth to every outfit.

5) Favorite winter scent/candle?
Anything that has cinnamon in it. It’s such a warm scent…

6) Favorite Winter beverage?
 Hot chocolate! 😀

7) All time favorite Christmas/Holiday movie? It’s a tie between “A Christmas Story,” and the ultimate Christmas movie, that’s right…

th“Die Hard.” 😉

8) Favorite Christmas/Holiday song? “This Christmas.” The Donny Hathaway version.

9) Favorite Holiday food/treat?
I don’t have a favorite anymore. It was glazed ham, until I found out that I’m allergic to pork. I still love the smell of it, though.

10) What is your favorite Christmas Decoration this year? *crickets* I don’t really have a favorite. Oops.

11) What’s at the top of your Christmas list?
Health and happiness for my family and friends.

12) What are your plans for the holidays this year? Spending it with my parents, and we’ll probably sleep until 2, eat, watch movies, sleep, watch more movies while sleeping (ha!), and fall asleep again with forks in our hands. While eating. 🙂

I tag everyone! Have fun, and I hope that everyone has a safe and wonderful holiday season! (((hugs for everyone!)))

OOTD – Casual Blurry Edition

Hello hello! I’m sorry about the delay in posting, but I had a few health issues to deal with, and then as soon as I got better, there was another family emergency. Tis’ the season, eh? o_O But everything is fine now, and life is finally getting back to normal. Thank goodness!

Here’s an outfit post. A blurry outfit post. A blurry outfit post with the camera in the photo. *sighs* That’s what I need to gift myself with in the new year. A new camera. I keep talking about it, and now I need to DO something about it! Hahaha! In the meantime, it is what it is, I suppose. Oh, and ignore the scratch in the mirror. Honestly…lol! Just bear with me, please. 🙂
