You make all the skirts, that’s what. 😀 Mimi G (who is awesome and is super sweet!) has a tutorial for an easy maxi skirt and one for an easy pencil skirt, and I decided to try them both out. I am so glad that I did! I will be making skirts all summer now, y’all!

Hello! My friend and I attempted to make a maxi this weekend from MiMi tutorial and FAILED miserably. What kind of material is did you use to create your maxi? I don’t think we bought the correct material.
Hi there! The first one is actually 100% cotton – it needs to be washed a few times in order for it to loosen up, but it was my test skirt. lol The second one…honestly, I’m not sure exactly what this one was. It was a piece of material that’s been sitting in a drawer for many, many years! Gotta learn to label my fabric! But it’s a really lightweight, flowy, somewhat sheer material that doesn’t fray. If you can find something like that, you may want to give it a try!
